Another week in the books for the One Room Challenge. Week four was another big push of checking off some of the big to-do’s for the nursery. We put on the final coats of paint, installed the ceiling light, and had the wallpaper installed. It was a busy week and the room is unrecognizable from its original state. These before and after photos will blow your socks off.
Current State
I will not be sharing more than a sneak peek from here on out since the wallpaper is such a focal point and huge impact for the space. I want to keep some of the reveal a surprise. The final few weeks are going to be spent adding the finishing touches to style out the room. The last 10-15% of styling a room for me is always the toughest part. There are a few small pieces I have in my head I want to add, now it is just the challenge of sourcing everything in time for the final reveal. I am planning on a couple more DIY projects I will share before we finish. Until then, here is the sneak peek I promised of the amazing wallpaper with the board and batten paneling.
One Room Challenge Weeks 5-7
I’ll catch you again next week with another sneak peek and a round-up of some of the flush mount lighting I was considering for the space that are too good not to share. In case you missed it, here are the recaps from week 1, week 2, and week 3. The final few weeks will be busy adding the final special touches to the space and looking for unique pieces to bring in.
Don’t forget to check out all the other amazing spaces being transformed for the one room challenge over at Calling It Home here and here.
