One Room Challenge Week 6

 

My big plans for this last week did not go as expected. I had some lofty goals for two DIY projects but those needed to be rescheduled to this weekend. This last week was spent planning and ordering the final touches for the room. I wont leave you hanging too long as I have some sneak peeks for you.

I had to check out the new Hearth and Hand collection at Target to see the goods. This is the best collection they have had in a while. The prices are great and the items look like high quality. I grabbed the green plaid pouf to try out while I wait for the one I had previously selected arrives. Not sure if I am going to keep it in here, but I do love the pop of plaid.

 

Here are some sneak peeks. On the to do list is add back the electric plug covers, build blanket ladder, build bookcase, style, and shoot final reveal photos.

Today also came with some very exciting news from the Home Love Network. Andy and Candis will be selecting one of the guest participants to feature their room on their new network! Pressure is on folks to make this room perfect. I would die to get to meet them and be featured on their show. If you are not familiar with their work you must watch their shows on their network and check out the other side of their business Old Home Love. These two have completed some amazing transformations to some old houses you would think are not salvageable. Hope you fall in love with them as much as I am. Fingers crossed!
